Judd Harris

Judd is a Wongutha man from the Goldfields, WA. As a Roberta Sykes Scholar he completed an MPhil in Engineering in Sustainable Development from Wolfson College, Cambridge University in 2016. He was the first Aboriginal person to study Engineering at Cambridge.
He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering, with Honours in Chemical Engineering, from Curtin University. He was the recipient of the BHP Billiton Iron Ore Scholarship for tertiary studies in 2010 and winner of the Rob Riley Memorial Prize in 2009. He is currently the Managing Director of the Indigenous Management Group, an organisation that he established. I really want to give back because I've received a lot in the form of scholarships. Due to the generosity of different organisations to send me overseas, it was really important for me to be able to provide something back to the community, especially the Aboriginal community. |
